The California Highway Patrol's Dublin office is still looking for witnesses to a crash on Mountain House Road that killed a 17-year-old Mountain House girl.
The crash happened just after noon Friday on Mountain House Road north of West Grant Line Road in Alameda County. According to the CHP, a tan 2004 Honda Civic was heading northbound when it crashed broadside into a white 2014 Freightliner Cascadia tractor hauling two end-dump trailers that was traveling southbound. A passenger in the Honda was ejected and died at the scene.
Both drivers stayed at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation, and the CHP said alcohol was not a factor.
Anyone with information about the incident can call the CHP Dublin Area office at (925) 828-0466 and ask for Officer Hartman or Officer Purl.
