Mountain House and Tracy high boys water polo end in 15-15 tie
The Mustangs led at halftime but gave up five third-quarter goals before the teams traded three apiece in the final period.

The Mountain House Mustangs and Tracy High Bulldogs boys water polo teams played to a 15-15 tie in their non-league game Wednesday afternoon at Mountain House High.
Mountain House led 5-4 after the first quarter and 8-7 at halftime, with both teams scoring three goals in the second. Tracy opened the second half with five goals to pull even at 12-12, and each team scored three times in the fourth quarter.
Mountain House senior Jayden Ward scored five goals and had four assists, while sophomore Vincenzo Eaquinto added four goals and two assists. Mustangs goalkeeper Kaustubh Avaral, a senior, allowed 15 goals and made 20 saves.
Tracy was led by senior Agustin Masanes Marun with four goals and two assists. Juniors Brayden Ibarra and senior Garret Burkhart each had three goals and three assists. In net, junior Gavin Avila allowed 10 goals with four saves, and junior Chris Nguyen allowed five goals with three saves.
The tie puts the Bulldogs at 2-5-1 on the season and Mountain House at 1-2-1. The girls teams did not play because Tracy did not have enough players for a team.
