Grand Opening of the Town Hall Tennis Courts Complex

New Tennis Courts Officially Open Across from Mountain House Town Hall MOUNTAIN HOUSE, CA — Community members, local leaders, and regional dignitaries gathered across from Town Hall on Friday to celebrate the grand opening of nine brand-new tennis courts with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and ceremonial first serve.

Mountain House Mayor Andy Su performed the ribbon cutting before stepping onto the baseline to hit the ceremonial first serve to enthusiastic applause from residents, youth athletes, and visiting officials.

The event drew broad representation from local, county, and state leadership. City leadership in attendance included City Manager Steven Pinkerton along with Council Members Bernice King Tingle and Dan Harrison. San Joaquin County Supervisor Robert Rickman represented the county Board of Supervisors, while Carlos Marquez attended on behalf of California State Assemblymember Rhodesia Ransom’s office.

The Lammersville Unified School District (LUSD) Governing Board was represented by board members Lisa Boulais, Stephanie Olsen, and Samik Mody.

A prominent contingent from the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Northern California section was also on hand to mark the milestone, including USTA NorCal Delegate Pam Sloan, Executive Director Summer Verhoeven, Cherryl Silva, and Marketing Specialist Faivale Atualevao. Mountain House developers and community partners, including David Sargent and Mike Sandhu, also joined the celebration.

The new six-court complex expands recreational infrastructure in one of California’s fastest-growing communities, offering dedicated space for casual public play, school programs, and competitive tournament matches.

Following the ceremony, the courts officially opened for community play.
